Privacy Policy

This site is run by Annie Vickrey, an independent consultant based in Tirana, Albania. This page explains exactly what happens to your information when you use it. It is short because the site does very little.

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics

There are no cookies, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and no analytics of any kind. Nothing is written to local storage. No scripts are loaded from third-party servers, and the typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, so browsing these pages does not disclose your visit to anyone else.

What is collected

Only what you choose to type into the contact form:

• Your name and email address
• Your company, if you give one
• Which problem areas you selected
• What you wrote about your situation, the outcome you want, and what you have already tried
• Your timing and your budget range

If you do not use the form, I do not intentionally collect or store any personal information about you, beyond the standard server logs my hosting provider generates for every visit to any website. Those are described below.

Where it goes

The form is sent over an encrypted connection to a function running on Vercel, which passes it to Resend, an email delivery service, which delivers it to my personal inbox at annievickrey@gmail.com. There is no database and no customer relationship system. Your enquiry lives in my email, and nowhere else.

Three companies therefore handle your data on my behalf: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Google (the inbox that receives it).

Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a host that keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, timestamps and browser user-agent strings. These are generated by Vercel for security and reliability, are retained under their policy, and are not used by me to build any profile of you.

How long it is kept

Enquiries stay in my inbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and are deleted when it is not. Ask me to delete yours and I will, and I will confirm when it is done.

What it is used for

Replying to you, and scoping the work you asked about. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing. You are not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to ask for a copy of the data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable form. The legal basis for handling your enquiry is legitimate interest: you contacted me about work, and I need your message in order to answer it.

Email annievickrey@gmail.com and I will answer within 30 days. If you believe I have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This is a business site for business clients. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Written to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality. If you need contractual data protection terms for an engagement, ask me and we will put them in the agreement.
